time frame for payout?

I am pretty sure I asked this before but here goes, I got my weekly payout and it was way less than I expected. I checked Payments last night before going to bed (Eastern time, well below midnight on the East Coast let alone California). 

My payment this AM is over $250 short. 

Went online, it's credited to next week.

So what is ebay's clock for calculating the payouts? I thought midnight Pacific Time.

It's been my experience that sales on Mon/late Sunday nite do not clear by Tues.

If you look at Available funds (top of the Summary page) late Mon. nite........that's what will transfer out Tues.

Pending funds are not yet cleared to transfer.........

@keziak   The issue is that the money transferring from the Buyer's funding source through Adyen & eBay and then to you.  Just because you sell something on a Monday does not mean THAT money will make it through the system for the Tuesday Payout.  I am in week 10 or 11 of Weekly Payments ... most sales come on weekends ... I have only had 2 or 3 weeks where ALL the money was paid.  The other weeks eBay withheld (that's how I like to state it) anywhere from 5% up to 60% of my money.

@dhbookdsWhat I found most interesting the week that Monday was a holiday (Columbus Day) and the Daily Payouts were missed and issued Tuesday is that I received 2 Payouts that Tuesday, it brought my total to 100% of all funds from the prior week.  I have seen Sun & Mon payments clear by Tuesday and I have seen Saturday payments NOT clear by Tuesday.  I suspect that the fastest money transfers come when Buyers use PayPal because the money is right there, its not a credit card situation.

eBay will NOT allow Weekly payouts on any day except Tuesday but that week I mentioned above means that if they would wait until days end Tuesday MORE money would be available to Sellers and not roll over for another week.

Mr. Lincoln, I don't pretend to know why/when/how they do the payouts, but they have a lot to send between the daily payouts and the wkly ones on Tues.  Obviously there has to be a cut off date somewhere.......plus there has to be an optimum time to "send" the payments so they get into seller's accounts quickly.  To delay sending til Tues nite, may mean a later seller deposit, which might be larger, but also might upset seller due to another day of bank processing.  We've learned not all Banks process in the same time frame......so what might work well for us, might not work well for others.........

Most late Sunday thru early Thursday transactions will be available to payout the next day.  For some strange reason MP doesn't process any transactions (pending to available) on Friday thru midday Sunday.  That means for the weekly payout seller those weekend  sales will be paid out the following week and for the daily payout sellers most weekend sales end up on the Tuesday AM or Wednesday AM payout.

be glad you are getting payouts, they payed me for a while and now say they can't confirm my acct, Been trying for 2 weeks to get this taken care of, Ebay sucks !  They locked my acct, can't buy or sell update or anything and they have a few thousand dollars of mine for sales that i can't get !  Not happy with ebay, Going to try amazon or something, Been a member since 1999 with 100% feedback.
