series of small refunds

Over the last few days, I've gotten three small refunds from ebay, a dollar or less, with no explanation why.  

Why?

some one else answered this by saying , it is a correction to taxes you paid throughout the year. 

Each transaction gets its own refund.

If you live in Michigan it may be for taxes you should not have been charged. Someone posted that they received the same refund and they said it has to do with taxes.
