Has everyone who lists items for auction been directed to provide social security numbers to EBAY inn order to continue to list items ?

Not all sellers have been brought into Managed Payments yet, but by the end of this year, everyone will be switched over. 
Sellers that display Gpay as a option for payment are in MP. 

Giving this personal information to eBay is no different than when you gave it to PayPal.

To continue to sell and be paid, you have to sign up for Managed Payments, providing your SSN and a checking account.

And that's why I am planning to close my Ebay and no longer sell.

Some sellers are not to happy about the change and say they are going to leave also.
