Did you mean:

rise in non-payments

Hiya,

just curious if there has been an increase in non-payments recently for auctioned  items?

pretty small sample size for myself but the percentage of non payments on items recently would indicate to me that it may be a problem in general.

There is nothing a seller can do in this instance and the buyer has no consequences?

Re: rise in non-payments

The last auction I won was about a month ago. When the auction ended ebay immediately sent me an email saying to pay within 4 days. If they are sending that to everyone then people probably think they have 4 days to pay.

As far as consequences the buyer will receive an unpaid item strike if you cancel with the reason "buyer never paid" after 4 days.
