"We couldn't verify this bank account. Please select a different payment method." with HSBC UK bank

So frustrating - have had three conversations with customer support who keep telling me that my HSBC UK bank won't work and need to call the bank, spent multiple conversations with my bank on the phone and they said there's no issue and ebay should work. Then they blocked me from submitting anymore live support and this option no longer works. 

Every time I add my UK bank account to Ebay as a Seller I get "We couldn't verify this bank account. Please select a different payment method." I tried two other accounts and the same error message. The bank should work 

I verified my Name is the same as it is on the ebay account as it is on the bank account, and I just want someone to help so I can resolve this issue, so frustrating with the lack of customer support. 

Everytime I call the UK customer support direct I can't get through to an agent.

How do I resolve this?
