I have a buyer who purchased an item on 11/23 and it got caught up in the USPS delays. She opened an INR in December requesting a refund, and she’s been relatively patient for the last 7 weeks waiting for it to arrive (no escalation). I received a notification from USPS that the item was refused delivery today, then shortly thereafter, an email from eBay saying the case was closed due to “no activity for 21 days”.
She messaged me again and asked for a refund - I know I should probably wait to get the item back, but I don’t mind in this particular situation because I feel like she’s waited long enough. So, I go into the order and the “Send refund” option is completely gone.
For comparison, I pulled up a different order, also purchased on 11/23, and the “Send refund” option is visible.
I’m in MP, but I’ve never NOT been able to give someone a refund, so I’m a little dumbfounded on how to proceed. Has anyone experienced this before?

@popblox Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You should be able to issue a refund to buyers within 90 days of the sales date. Since that's not the case for this one item, would you mind giving me the item numbers for both items purchased on 11/23 (the one with the option and the one without) so I can get this reported to the tech team? I appreciate it!

Sure!
184545021510 is the item number for the troublesome order
184365408769 & 184245113865 are from an order placed the same day as the troublesome order. I have the option to send a refund on this one.

Possibly, I just don't know what the problem is. I've had similar situations, but I was always able to issue a refund through PP.
