That is not going to happen, so thanks for letting us know you are leaving.

Many state the same, but nothing will change it. That ship has sailed. But, most that state so come back. This is still the best place to sell most goods.

Another person complaining about Ebay asking them for the same information they gave to Paypal.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I am not happy with the changes. But have complied in order to continue selling here.
Ebay knows they will lose some number of sellers who won’t or can’t make the change. It is doubtful they care about this.
Wish you all the best wherever you land.

You might want to check PayPal's Rate and Fee Increases coming in August 2021
As for their other changes Not much can be done.. they own it
Best of Luck

Even with PayPal's dramatic fee increases? Percentage fee going from 2.9% to 3.49% (just over 20%) and fixed transaction fee going from $ .30 to $ .49 almost 64%)?

@goose2003 They started Managed Payments about 2 years ago because their contract with PayPal runs out this year. My account went in last August. Managed Payments is not Seller Friendly like PayPal was but a change was inevitable ...

There are many sites out there that would be good fit for someone, I'm not sure which ones use Paypal (viable ones anyway). You'll find your niche. Best of luck~

Well, I certainly understand you and there are other options besides eBay. But I wouldn't close your eBay account, you might change your mind.
PayPal did increase their fees but it's not as drastic as some are noting... PayPal has almost 400 million users and their growth rate averages in the double digit percentages y-o-y...
The others here, well, they will cheer for MP, but it's very very doubtful that they will close their PayPal accounts: PayPal offers the public what is needed: a personal money processor. And as far as I know, MP isn't setup that a way... eBay wants their money first and foremost, and they have to control the sellers' money to make the MBG policy work without placing them in a responsible position, thus the systematic approach of the MBG policy: eBay really doesn't have to give much thought to any particular returns, nor do they really even have to care about sellers being scammed: they have control of money: MP.
But like I said, you might change your mind later on. But let me note this: word through the grapevine, eBay is scrambling to cut cost and they are looking at selling some of their sisters... The shareholders are nervous: expected revenues are missing the mark and eBay's growth is dismal. So, with that said, other options might be just as good as eBay, but I wouldn't close your eBay account...
Best of luck to you

Ecommerbytes.com has Bonanza highly rated and they accept Paypal. Never tried it myself since I just fine here.
