I will no longer be selling on ebay , due to ebay not using paypal on the seller's end.
I will not let ebay hold "my money" in a escrow account (while they draw interest) and let them decided when they should give it to me. If ebay wants to play games , I encourage every seller to not ship their items until the funds settle into your bank account. 7 days to receive payments is not acceptable. My payment information will be deleted from ebay after my funds have cleared.
I have been selling on ebay for many years but , no more. What a shame.

The only way to do that is to close your account.

You are totally misinformed, and are just speculating.
As for getting your money instantly: welcome to the real world were the payment completion is not floated as PP use to do.
eBay is very aware some users just can not take change.
Good luck with what ever you do.

No , you can keep paypal thru 2023 for buying only. I will not be selling on ebay anymore so they don't need my bank information. There is a section where it can be deleted.

Departures are announced at the airport and the train station, not the community boards.
Best of luck.

"I will not let ebay hold "my money" in a escrow account (while they draw interest) "
ebay does not do that. Believe what you will, but that isn't happening.
" If ebay wants to play games , I encourage every seller to not ship their items until the funds settle into your bank account. "
Many of us have been in MP for quite some time now, we've been shipping using "pending payments".....no problem. I'm certainly not going to wait for the money to get into my bank account. I had one day handling before MP, I have it now (and sometimes ship same day.) Again, zero problems with doing that.
I prefer a payout once a week, and that works fine for me.
I do what works for me. You do what works for you.

Unfortunately for you ,you have no say so in what's discussed on this board. And ,I didn't say I was leaving , just stated that I was not going to be selling anymore. Ebay feedback is nonexistent , so I posted where I could.

Ebay has finally removed any doubt as to their total disregard for us suckers who made Ebay rich. I've been selling here here since 2001... been through Ebay's buyout of Paypal. Now they've made sellers wait for payments. I shipped an item on 5/1 ... payment shows sent to bank on 5/17 but not in my account yet. It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to anyone past the lion at the gate who repeats the same talking point over and over.
Even on this forum there is no reply from Ebay. No concern is shown.
Friends. we do not need Ebay. They have shown they do not need us sellers. There are other ways to sell product. What a sad way to end a 20+ year relationship! And Ebay does not care.

If you don't think ebay is not holding that money in escrow , you are wrong.. All major retail corporations do it.

Good luck to you in your selling endeavors in the future.

Wrong on so many levels

Until they receive the funds, which is usually 2 days, there is nothing to hold.
Once they receive the funds, they send them to your checking account the next business day.

There is a section where they make it appear to be deleted?

This is the age of electronic banking. Terms like "processing" and " sending" are being used as they have discovered a new revenue stream, in my opinion.
My last sale was "processed' for three days and is now being "sent" to my bank. The bank hasn't seen it.
If you buy something on your credit card it "processes" and gets "sent" to your bank instantly.
I don't blame people for being upset. These changes are forced on sellers just like PayPal was. There is no opt in or opt out unless you close your account. The first notice I saw was an Email from Ebay saying give us your bank information or don't get paid.
My opinion.

There is nothing to opt in or opt out from. Paypal was no longer interested in being Paypal's payment processor. EBay chose Ayden. Thems the breaks folks. If you are unsatisfied go to the Paypal boards and b*tch at them. EBay is NOT getting any interest as they are not handling the funds.
