I don't like that eBay has just sent me a microdeposit process notice. I understand why this would be done for new sellers, BUT I've been here since 1998 and have same checking acct for deposit of net sales payouts. I recently had to change my credit card due to scammer microdeposit attempt, and tho eBay message LOOKS genuine, I am cautious.

Thanks for your reply. I believe it is genuine BUT that doesn't explain WHY eBay is doing this. Is every eBay user getting this message or what?

Yes, it’s normal. From time to time, eBay will ask for clarification that the information they have about you is current.
