Hello Everyone,
I am just a small recreational seller. I have fun selling my unwanted items and use my PayPal account to buy other things I want. I don't think I will give eBay my banking information. It's just too fraught with the opportunity for fraud and won't give me the opportunity to have a separate account for my "fun" money. I really don't make enough money to be bothered with opening a second bank account just for eBay.
So, if I don't give them my bank information, I guess I am done selling on eBay. Is this an attempt by eBay to get rid of small time sellers?
Also, did anyone notice eBay has raised fees? They raised fees about the same amount PayPal charges for transactions. Another money grab?

Ebay is not getting rid of "Small" sellers, they are getting rid of sellers who are unwilling to enroll in their new program. The decision to leave is up to you. Good luck with your future endeavors.

They didn't actually raise fees, they are just taking whatever you paid for the PayPal transaction and keeping it for themselves. They will be using part of it though to pay their new payment processor, Adyen. Nobody knows how much that's costing them. As far as the small sellers go, they haven't been supporting them for years, nothing new there.

eBay has actually increased the fees. They collect the same amount as Paypal did and they have added that they now collect the selling fee percentage on the sales tax.
