Hello everyone so I haven been a seller on eBay for quite sometime now.and on the 31st of oct.they restricted my account ,not to mention my funds is been on hold since oct16th .EBay told us to submit bank information and more info that comes along with it.we then followed what we were told to do and send all documents that was needed. After that they send this an email stating That we need to responce their email after all order is marked as delivered. And then followed that as well we responded to that email after all orders was delivered. They then asked us to cancel all orders that was not ship yet that way it we’ll release our hold funds sooner ,and so we did that as well. Then all
of the sudden they restricted my account with more than 5k funds.and was told to wait 170 days to get it release. All they say is that I am a threat to eBay community .Also as a seller you can’t customer of wanting to report you just because you don’t give them the discount they ask from you.we received threats therefore it’s our rights to not do business with this folks. Now my issue is I am giving birth, and all our bills is overdue because of eBay holding our funds.I have been calling them thousands of times for my funds and all they say is 170 days wait. What if something could go wrong with my pregnancy?ebay still won’t release my funds.

93.3% FB is awful.
This response to a buyer -
"Look we are trying to cater to everyone.and yourself message us,shaming us,threatening us for no valid. We rather cancel your order than kissing your ass threatening us thinking your more important than any other buyer. "
Unbelievable!
This is business.
You will need to wait for your funds to be released. No one can do this for you.
Hopefully your pregnancy turns out well and there are no issues but again this is business not personal.

Probably has to do with buyers being able to file a charge back request for 180 days. Ebay would rather have any charge back request come from your money and not theirs.
Red flag is because you sell nothing but infant formula.

Canceling transactions is the kiss of death for a seller here. Ebay really hates a disappointed customer, feeling that they wont come back.

We have to cancel their order because ebay asked us to cancel so we could get our funds and after we did that and cancel it .buyers were messaging us with threats. And saying that we have to ship their order even after threatening us,and then they reported us to eBay.and now we as a seller have to suffer the consequences of cancellation of their order even after.

I understand that there’s a waiting period, but the funds is been on hold since Oct 16 ,2024 and now is Nov.7 and because of that funds being on hold for a long time ,my child got kicked out of the day care ,and our electricity has now going to be cut off ,I understand that this is personal but the hold funds is all we have. And I don’t see such a huge reason of holding funds for too long all orders is been delivered, since before the 16th of Oct.the 1 order of 1 can was delivered on the 30th and until now there’s no request is been going on .no disputes,no cancellation request, there’s a return that we accepted it but buyers never ship them back yet.But we accepted that return.

You need no extra stressers. I'd offer that you look at it this way for now... you don't have "hold funds" but you will receive "hold funds". (It won't be forever.) And know moving forward that eBay is not the place to make fast cash. Godspeed.

If your asking for an update if this got resolve?NO calling eBay cs and contacting them over fb is another level of worst nightmare,And most importantly those asking for a call back support over eBay apps,/site is also another heck of a problem.Fist support we’ll tell you wait for 170 days, another one we’ll tell you 180 days, and goes on the list.Do not asked for help over eBay because they are as **bleep** as you can imagine.

If eBay sales are the funding source for daycare and the power bill, then responses such as that just can’t happen. Every sale is important!
If one needs quick money, sell locally for cash.
This response reflects very poorly on you.

I expect you are on a thirty day hold, Oct 16th to Nov 16th. Ebay has a 30 day money back guarantee, even with a good feedback on the item, buyers have been known to file a return case two or three weeks later. Ebay wants to make sure the funds are there in case of a refund.

I expect your account is restricted because you canceled two transactions this month. Thats the kiss of death for any seller. Ebay hates disappointed customers, feeling that they wont come back. I hope your account is still safe, but Idk.
