Hi, I have just switched to managed payments one weeks ago and now I want to refund my buyers money because he asked to cancel an order. But It cant go through even after trying dozen of times. The system asked me to enter a backup/automatic payment options and I tried entering my debit card but it never works. Ive tried for hours. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

What was your payment method for ebay prior to MP??
Most users used a credit card on file with ebay for such.
See what you have one file with ebay for you old payment method..

Are you refunding throught the sold listings in the seller hub? Find the item and to the left is a blue arrow with a drop down menu and the refund option. When you attempt to make a refund make sure you have a reason selected from the drop down menu at the top. Night help, might not.... hope so.

From experience... when I don't have enough 'Pending' funds for eBay to refund from, I have the option to select that it pull from my attached bank account or from the CC I have listed as my Automatic Payment method for eBay invoices.
Maybe a debit card won't work... I dunno. Good luck, tho!

Since one is registered in Morocco (the OP) and one is registered in Malaysia, it would be surprising if the two ids belong to the same member.

I am having this issue as well I cannot add a payment method for refunds. It just happened out of the blue

HI! I had to use a charge card for the same issue. I was not very happy. The nice man on the phone from E helped me & then told me how to delete my card. it worked fine & they no longer have my charge card #. 💛💙
