Won’t let me register for Managed payments

I keep getting an error that it doesn’t recognize the credit union I bank with and then they ask for a statement but say my name has to be on it but it only shows my wife’s name on the checking account. I’m out of options. I’m not adding another checking account or doing anything else. This is just so stupid. Been Selling since 2001 and now I’m gone from this.

It says "enetr a valid city"!!!!!

I know my city and i write it as it have to be plus post code etc.

finally i solve the matter, just i wrote the prefecture of my area and the system accept it.

Sellers enrolling in Managed Payments must use a bank, in the traditional and legal sense of the word. Credit Unions do not qualify.

Meanwhile, BUYERS on eBay have (because of Managed Payments) just had the ways they can PAY multiply:

"When eBay manages payments, buyers can pay using credit, debit, and gift cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and PayPal Credit."

So buyers have had their options to SEND money grow, and sellers have had their option to RECEIVE money not just shrink, but go to ONE WAY: a checking account at a bank.  Really?

It is, as I keep saying, the 21st century. In everything else, that means your choices EXPAND. Not on eBay though, for sellers. One way, or else.  How retroactive of eBay.

When I needed to upload a statement to MP from my small town bank, I uploaded a screen shot from online banking showing my name and the account and routing numbers. That was accepted.

This MP thing, and the hoops people are jumping through and exposing their info on the web because of, is going to be a hacker's dream come through. Don't think they don't know and don't think they aren't working one it. What a massive coup it will be, for the first one who hacks eBay.

Have you tried having your name added to your wife's account? Make sure it is a checking account. Or open up a checking account in your name and then attach that to MP.

Have you tried dropping to the ground and doing 50 pushups? How about running around the block with your checkbook held in the air? Maybe if you hand money out on a street corner, that'll work!

No problem: just change your entire financial record keeping system 'cause Ms eBay says so.

Absurd.

We, as legacy sellers, who eBay has dealt with for years, shouldn't be treated like eBay suddenly doesn't know who we are.

Yikes - let us tone it down a notch or ten.  First, I think that you replied to the wrong person.  Second, there is no need to be nasty.  Third, I can't imagine signing up for a checking out that isn't free.  Paying for a checking account is like paying to see a weather forecast.
