Why does eBay Master Card keep disappearing from the list of payment options?

Today I tried to make a purchase, but discovered that my regular payment method - eBay Master Card - is not listed as a payment option. The card is no longer visible in Android app, neither it is visible in the desktop browser.

Just to force things through I manually added my eBay Master Card as a "new card", and Adroid app accepted it as a payment method for my purchase.

However, one minute later when I tried to make another purchase and the card was no longer there.

What is happening? Why did eBay MasterCard disappear from the list of payment options? Why does it keep disappearing after being added manually?

Hi @andreyt. Would you mind adding the card to your payment methods via our desktop site instead to see if it sticks? This will help me determine if this is an app issue, or something more.

Well, to clarify my description above:

* When I went to "Payments" section of the web site (or the Android app), the Master Card was there. It did not disappear from there.

* But when I made purchases (i.e. perform a Checkout) the Master Card was not offered as a payment method. I could only select "PayPal", "Google Pay" and "Add new card" options on the Checkout screen. I made two purchases yesterday and both times I had to use "Add new card" to pay with my Master Card.

I just tried to do the same thing today, and it looks like the issue is gone now: the Master Card is now visible as a payment method during checkout.
