We usually have our electronic 1099 K forms around January 20th each year. Today is the deadline, January 31, 2025 and it's afternoon and still no form. The law says "by Jan. 31" but this is cutting too close. eBay needs to realize that this is a shabby way to treat us, waiting until the last minute and then giving us no explanation. We are being treated like mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed manure. There are many different reasons why we need these forms early or communication regarding their last minute arrival. In my case, I need this to complete a tax return (because the final annual sales total never exactly matches the 1099K) so that I can get a pre-approval letter to buy a house. The stress is awful. eBay, have some mercy.
