When do I get my payment?

Good afternoon all!

Okay, totally upset at the beginning of my journey back to Ebay... conversed with some of you on here, gave it some thought and decided I would give Ebay selling a try again.

I have been away from Ebay for awhile. I came back and found many changes had taken place.

First change was how we get the payments when one of our items sold. I know you have to wait a couple of days before payment shows up. I did as some of you suggested, I opened up another checking account, solely for the purpose of Ebaying (separate from my personal checking account).  Now....my question is, since I have been away for awhile, I guess that they are going to hold back my payment like they do for new sellers. ???  Does anyone know for how many days they hold this payment?  Why doesn't Ebay keep me informed on the length of time?  I have mailed the buyer her item, she hasn't had time to receive it yet, I think she will get it Tuesday 9/7/21.  After she receives it, will they release it then?  Why do I keep hearing it could be 28 days?  Also, for how long (months? weeks?) will they continue holding it back?

I appreciate everyone's help.  I know I was obnoxious when my journey began,  I guess I don't take surprises very well, and all these changes were quite a surprise.  I have been selling on Ebay for around 20 years and I leave for awhile, come back and the changes were so weird to me.  I did take some of your suggestions. Thank you!

They usually release the funds a day or two after tracking shows the item was delivered.

It can vary but usually no more than 21 days.  Sometimes if your money is not shaking loose fast enough after or if the buyer leaves feedback, you can call and get your money released.  Here is the actual policy on this.
