Update Bank Account Problem-HELP!

I got a message from eBay about needing to verify my bank account information. Is this something that happens periodically? It had me verify and log in to my bank account through "Trustly." It only came up with the option to use my savings account and not my checking! I chose the savings option because I thought I could go back and correct it. Every time I do, it says that it can't recognize my bank account. Payments are delayed 48 hours now so eBay can verify the "new acct". It's not a new account, it's just the savings and not checking!

Banking account...debit card and checking account routing number(they are the same)...ask your bank for the routing number.

Credit cards are not going to help here...so do not give it out.

This has nothing to do with a savings account so do not give out numbers.

And...and the email you received should be IN eBay and not just emails in your inbox of emails.

The savings accounts IS the problem you need a checking account with your bank. eBay requires a bank routing number and your checking account number. 
Trustly is not a bank.

A savings account won't work, has to be a checking account.

Yes, they do it every so often.

You should be able to verify it with the micro deposits and not have to log into your bank account.

AND...and here's the but...savings has nothing to do with an eBay account...did you not notice this?
