This is How to link your Cash App for payouts

Go to your CASH APP,

SELECT THE HOME TAB,

SELECT ACCOUNT & ROUTING in upper right corner,

Write down those numbers,

Go to MY EBAY,

Go to PAYMENTS,

Select MANAGE on the bank account,

Change by Selecting to do so with the ACCOUNT & ROUTING NUMBERS, Not the BANK NAME...

If you are changing from the initial bank Ebay set up for you, it may ask you to put in the entire bank Account number for the inital account Ebay set up, as a security measure...

Dont bother looking for it. You wont find it.

Heres what to do...

First, make sure your phone number and email have both been verified...

After this, contact ebay support...

Tell them you are needing to change your payout account but its asking you for the full previous bank account number and you cannot find it...

They will resolve this for you and lead you thru the process once again, where you will go thru the steps above, entering your new full account and routing numbers to your new payout account you want to set up, and this time it will work.

Voila, youve got your cash app set up for payouts.

The only downside, is they'll put a hold on your payouts up to 48 hours since you changed your payout bank account info. But in 48hrs or less, just like with mine when i did this, you'll have your payout released.

Glad i could help. 😁

CashApp isn't a bank.

You might get a couple payments, but they'll stop it.

Have a great day.

Re: This is How to link your Cash App for payouts

I see you posting on all of the Cash App and Venmo posts that they're not banks but if you're verified (have your SSN on file) you can get direct deposits. I've been getting my managed payments payouts to my Venmo account for years. When you go to cash app and you're verified you can get a routing and checking account number OR you can setup direct deposit from Cash App itself and they list eBay (Seller) as a supported option. Also, your money is insured up to $250k by the FDIC in Cash App and Venmo just as it is if you keep it at a "traditional bank".

Since they are not a real bank, don't be surprised if one day, you don't get paid.

Have a great day.

That is all well and good but you will still have up to 30 day holds on payouts as a new seller.

Re: This is How to link your Cash App for payouts

My CA acct says funds are FDIC protected through partnering banks Wells Fargo and Sutton Bank. Sounds legit to me….

Re: This is How to link your Cash App for payouts

Digital payment methods/apps aren't the same exact thing as a credit union or bank.  Yes, they are supported by Wells Fargo or another large bank and yes you do get checking acct info and can get direct deposits that way... BUUUT they don't function in all of the same way.  We use a company called Current for all of our banking [they have 4% interest on savings accts if you get direct deposits] but there are things I can't do with it.  I can't connect it to Zelle or other cash apps.. While this style banking does work the same in most ways, they don't work the same in all ways as regular banking unfortunately. I don't use cash app and ebay used to payout to PayPal until a couple yrs ago so I'm not 💯 familiar with it's use on ebay, but I'm going to assume it's the same based on the research I did when I was running into problem and it didn't matter if I used venmo, current, Zelle, or paypal.
