The new INFORM Consumers Act requires eBay to verify the account every year to make sure  it's you on the account, and thereafter, it's still you that's using the account.

Its crazy that we have russian agents posing as congress men an women making US citizens prove their identity. Only in ameriKa.

You are an infrequent seller, one sale in May, one in June, and your three this month. Its not unusual for Ebay to confirm identities with infrequent sellers.I am also an infrequent seller, and was asked to confirm my identity after selling here for twenty four years.I have no problem with Ebay doing that,to confirm my account has not been hacked.
