@froggyjump   You need the checking account number and bank routing number which is also on your checks.  You can add a different credit card to your account as a back up payment method.

Thank you, that's what I did.  I am paying for postage with a different card. Just wondered when receiving the money for goods sold, if all is ok. Sounds like it is. Thank you

Yes... all good. They have your checking account info on file... that's where your Payouts will go. They don't deposit to your ATM card.

@froggyjump   If you want to use the money from your customers to pay for your labels instead of your credit card you can select "Pay with pending payouts" at the bottom of the label flow (1st pic) the next time you print a label.  It will STAY that way until you change it back.  The money will come out of your "Available" funds (2nd pic - if you click the Payments tab on the Seller Hub Overview page you will get the Financial summary page that I show) ... that value can go below zero if a sale comes in and the money has not moved from Processing to Available.  Once the money moves to Available the negative balance will change to a positive amount.  Your back up payment method (credit card) will only be used if there are not enough funds available to pay for something like an unexpected return, etc.

People get these two types of cards confuses all the time.

A Credit Card is a card you receive from a Bank or Company that allows you to pay on a revolving credit account.  They give you a credit limit in which you can charge or take in cash.  Then you make monthly payments.

A Debit Card is tied to your Checking Account.  When you use this card, the funds are pulled from your bank account directly.

If you cancelled your Debit Card, that is tied directly to your cash in the bank.  If you only cancelled the card and they issued you a new one tied to the same checking account, then you have nothing to change in Ebay.

But if you also had to close your checking account and open a new one, then yes you need to update Ebay.
