Scammed again by EBAY

We purchased Two pairs of Welding gloves for $22.22 each (BIT and free shipping) and received only one pair. we contacted the seller twice with no response so we opened a case with Ebay. 

We just received an email from ebay because the seller refunded $12.26. we penalized for almost $12.00?  We’ve been a member since 1999 and this is the Second time we’ve received no help from ebay. What a scam!

OP paid $22.22 per pair, the $12.00 refund was less than a 60% refund for one pair. OP did in fact lose almost $12.00 on the transaction.

@quinn1999   I would have suggested an item not as described refund request.  You return the gloves you did receive and get a full refund.  The seller pays return shipping.  

If you have not filed the request on ebay you can still do so.  

If you filed one on ebay and only received less than a 50% refund you can try contacting CS OR file a not as described refund request on paypal.  On paypal you pay return shipping.

Yes, the seller finally sent the rest of the refund so I changed the feedback I sent him. I’m not sure if ebay got involved but it was only after this post that it was corrected. Ebay closed the case even though the refund amount

was incorrect.  It was only 12 bucks but I was PO’d at the difficulty of contacting ebay.
