Rubbish service from eBay

As a seller eBay has a bug with my account that despite repeated calls and complaints they are not able to fix. The service light received have been very poor. Indeed there is no flexibility payment method. Which means eBay is hanging onto my money through no fault of mine. Can anyone please tell me contact email addresses for the CEO of board members, perhaps in the UK or USA?,that despite repeated calls and complaints they are not able to fix. The service light received have been very poor. Indeed there is no flexibility payment method. Which means eBay is hanging onto my money through no fault of mine.

The CEO and board members will not read your messages. Best to try to fix it directly with eBay. If you aren’t flexible with how you are paid, you won’t get any money.

You need to get all your ducks in a row to participate in managed payment. This is the ONLY way to get paid. You cannot choose anything other than what is being requested to receive payments. You cannot do it your way. You have to do it eBay way.

Yes, only bank payment. There ya go.

The ONLY way to pay ebay is from the funds for the items that you sell.  They will NO longer accept a credit card as payment.  (This is the only thing that I despise about managed payments.)  .  Set up your bank account.   You can set up a paypal account to pay for your Ebay shipping.  That is exactly what I do.  This way, you can keep more of your funds.

The bottom line is that ebay claims that doing it this way, the seller does not get a bill and it's best for them.  But that is a big lie.  The truth is that it is a money grab by ebay because now they get their money faster and do not have to pay fees to paypal or credit cards if that is the way that the seller was paying their bill.  With Managed payments, they are not paying these fees.

Set up your bank account.   Then add a credit card and set up Ebay shipping to only pull the shipping fee from a credit card.   Oh by the way, you have reached the Ebay boards instead of the UK boards.  But I am 99.9% sure that it's the same thing in the UK.  Goodluck.

Ebay is going to keep your money until you set up Managed Payments.   Again, you are in the UK.  The ID requirement may be different.    Set it up.   The bank account has to be verified. If for some reason, ebay does not accept your bank account, you will need to get a new account.  For some reason, in the USA,  you can't use BANK of America.  Don't ask me why since this is one of the largest banks in the USA.   You will need to see what Ebay requires of UK sellers and comply.

Goodluck.

Why don't you try contacting Ebay on Facebook?  When you go to the Ebay facebook page , click on MESSENGER and then state your ID and what the problem is.  The staff there is very knowledgeable and speak English fluently.  They will respond within a day or so.  The way it is set up will be very private.  No one in your friend/family on Facebook will know that you contacted Ebay.

One thing, in case you did not realize it.  Your name and the bank account name must match exactly.   The bank account has to be verified by Ebay before any funds are released.  I am guessing that has not been yet.

Sometimes, the bank is not accepted by ebay too.  Do you have a different bank account?  Also, have you tried signing out and signing in?

Go here to link a checking account. eBay will deposit micro deposits which you'll have to confirm the amount or amounts with eBay.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/setting-changing-automatic-payment-method/...

Then you'll need to attach a payment method for seller fees that aren't taken from your payout.

PS

If your eBay account is a business account you might have to link a business checking  account in the UK. You should check with the Selling board on the UK to confirm that.

You are incorrect about fees. ADYEN processes the buyer's payments and they don't  do that for free.

There's noting wrong with eBay taking their fee from the payout. It's not being greedy. if you owe someone $100 and they owe you $20 are you going to hand them 5 twenties and say here's  what I owe you and you can pay me what you owe me in 2-3 weeks,,,,,I'll send you an invoice?....... or are you going to take away one of those twenties because they owe you  $20  and give them $80? You betcha that's what you would do.

I just don't understand if one owes fees as soon as it sells why then would they object to having the fees that you owe taken from your payout?

I wonder how many sellers took the money and ran and did not pay the seller fees before Managed Payments? I wonder if there's statistics on that.

My only problem is not making sure sellers are set up correctly BEFORE letting them list an item.

Then, when it sells and the buyer pays, ebay gets their money right away.

Additionally,  the seller is left trying to set up everything correctly without any real help when problems come up.

Ebay should NOT be able to take their fee until the sellers payment is released.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!

@wwwweb4sellingcom

Have to ask.... Does the name and address on your bank checking account match EXACTLY with your eBay account name and address?

Joe P. Smith does not match Joe Smith or Joseph Smith

123 Water Street does not match 123 Water ST.

Etc. Etc. Etc.

You can easily change the eBay account information to match.

If the above is all copestetic then perhaps try linking a different checking bank account.
