Receiving Payments without a Bank Account

Hi folks,

I am unable to link a bank account to Ebay. I have sold successfully for many years using Paypal to pay fees and receive payments, and had many sales in recent weeks, all without an account linked. My account was recently locked from posting future sales, which is fine, but I would like to receive the funds already earned from sales made under the past sales policy. Is there a way to receive funds through paypal? Have ebay mail me a check? Other? The funds have now been sitting in my ebay account for a couple of weeks.

Appreciate any advice.

No there is not any other way.

If you can't provide a checking account, you'll have to wait until the funds are sent to your states unclaimed property.

Once it's there, you can get it from the state.

And it can take close to a year that way, so let's hope you're a very patient person.

Every seller now has to have a checking account linked to receive money from their sales.   This is due to the change over from PayPal to Adyen Managed Payments.  It really is quite easy to do and if you are going to continue to sell, it is something you are required to do.  Your money will not be released to you until you do.  Set up a separate account if you wish.

Thank you for the additional info. I don't intend to continue selling under the new requirements, and simply wish to be paid my outstanding balance, earned through sales under the old policy.

Unfortunately, your sales in Feb and March were not sold under the 'old policy', Managed Payments has been in effect for over two years.Its been the only way to get paid.

There must be a linked checking account or there is no way to receive money.

Well the hell with eBay never again will I sell on here deleting my account now.

Nope. You are not able to delete your account now. You have a recent sale and one up for sale, thus eBay won't  let you delete your account for 6 months.
