I had my PayPal still on my payment methods and I tried to put in an offer on an item and it would not accept PayPal as my payment method. There is no chance that I will connect my credit card to eBay. Unfortunately if I am unable to connect PayPal to eBay now then I will not continue to buy on ebay. Which stinks. Is there any loopholes here? Am I missing something? I deleted my PayPal on here and was going to just reconnect it. Now that doesn't look to be an option.

P.S. I do not sell on eBay. I am only a buyer.

No you do not need to reconnect that anymore, as it is no longer used.

But now, do you see two options the next time you're asked for a default payment method, or just the one option?

It only shows the one option, to pay with a credit card rather than PayPal. I want to use PayPal to pay. Not a credit card.

What message did you see when you tried to use PayPal?

I mostly use PayPal on eBay for purchases and it shows in my Payment options/Wallet, no problem.

I understand your concerns I have paypal and its linked to my bank account so you should be able to use it that way .your bank account info is protected by paypal.

So @lmfcurtis06 you still had PayPal as your "Payment Method" like this:

Then you removed PayPal as your "Payment Method" after it was not accepted when you tried to make an offer.

And now you cannot select PayPal as your "Payment Method" because it is no longer an option on that list -- is that what happened?

Hello, I am having the same issue as Curtis, somewhat.

I enter an offer and am provided two options to pay as shown above in this message trail:

I choose PayPal account because I want to use PayPal credit, but once I choose this it only allows me to use my checking account that is linked to my PayPal account. Is PayPal credit not an option when submitting offers?
