Please bring back the PayPal customer payment option instead of just directly to your checking account. I got this message on my account. I take it as I can still recieve PayPal account payments due to how long I have been a member. Since 2002 it says its still active.

Since, until your recent sale, you havent had any sales for a year, be prepared for your funds to be held..usually for twenty one days.

negative on the 'receive payments'
your currently linked paypal account stays that way primarily for the purpose of
a. buying with your username
b. paying for shipping if your prefer from ebay labels
You must enroll in Managed Payments to receive payments from your sales.
All of your fees are paid automatically in one place instead of 2.....
It is relatively simple....
Please take a minute to re-familiarize yourself with the current methods for selling in the ebay help pages

anyone can use paypal to get payments. just not with ebay
my paypal accout works fine but that has little to do with ebay

Buyers can still use Paypal to pay for purchases.
The only way a seller can be paid is for the payments to go into his checking account via Managed Payments.
The length of time you've been on eBay has no impact on the above.

I gave him the information on the zombie thread he was posting on. I guess multiple people have to tell him before he believes it.

I totally get it. Yes easier I suppose but with they would have kept two ways! Ok I am done! It is what it is!

Their contract with PayPal to process payments ended. Adyen does that now. eBay gave several years of warnings that sellers would have to transition to managed payments to receive their buyer's payment.
You're done because you don't want to give eBay your SSN and a checking account for payouts?
I see said the blind man.
Good luck wherever you go!

I am not done! The checking account is fine. I just need to have my own. Otherwise it goes into the family checking is all. I can fix that! Sorry did not mean to sound like I quit! 🙂

Seems that is kind of off beat because I have not been selling. I have been working many hours and have not had the opportunity. I do have good reviews and so 21 days seems like a punishment if I have all positive reviews? Just Saying!

I can't! Been blocked for several weeks and wasted hours on phone and chat. CSRs all give different answers, but several have said they (paypal) require direct bank account info, my Visa debit isn't good enough anymore. Sorry ebay / paypal, I need to keep myself safe and secure as much as possible. Spreading bank account info around is not safe. I've used paypal for 14 years, haven't changed my name, address, nor Visa card, but now paypal locks me out. So I'll buy in other marketplaces. Shame because I've liked ebay, but they've made a change I'm not going to agree to. And it makes no sense to me at all, and nobody has explained it.

Because you have no recent selling history, Ebay prefers that any refunds come out of your pocket, not theirs. Thats thirty days on Ebay, and 180 days at PP, and most cc's.

Members can still buy with PP, but sellers no longer get paid with PP.
