Paypal Credit Not working on checkout

Anyone notice that the paypal credit method is greyed out and not available. Paypal told me my account is fine and its an issue on ebay.

That’s why I came to this forum. I noticed it last night after just using PayPal credit this past weekend. I certainly hope eBay isn’t doing away with it as a payment option. I loaded various options in my cart just to see if it was a seller preference to not offer it and it’s gray on all of them. Tried again today (11/6/24) and it still won’t work.

Go to your eBay payments page.

If there is an entry there for PayPal, delete it.

The next time you check out of eBay and choose PayPal, you should be sent to your PayPal wallet to choose a payment method.

It seems like a temporary issue with eBay's payment system. Try clearing your browser cache or accessing eBay from a different device. If the problem persists, contact eBay support for further assistance, as it might be an account or technical issue on their end.

I'm having the same problem.  I cannot go to PayPal to pay for my item(s).  PayPal credit is greyed out, and if I click on the PayPal, ebay takes the payment out without me being able to select what I want to use to pay for the item(s).  I like using the 'pay in 4' on PayPal,  and cannot, because I am unable to log into PayPal from Ebay.  I am quite upset over this.

Having the same issue as well. Conveniently, they place a Venmo advertisement right above the "PayPal is unable to process your payment at this time. You can try changing the payment method inside of your PayPal account or select a different payment method." error as if they are trying to direct more users into that line of payment since the owners of PayPal also own Venmo. I've verified all of my PayPal info, updated the card info, and everything works fine when the card is used directly on eBay, but the usual PayPal option doesn't work no matter how many times I log into it or go through the normal processes within it. This is definitely on eBay/PayPal.
