I recently learned that eBay took away 3rd parties as payouts like PayPal. It make me furious that I can’t choose to have my money sent there that eBay is demanding my bank info or card details. Im not doing that, that’s wrong. PayPal has always been safe and secure that’s why I use it and to avoid giving eBay my personal info like that. But here’s the kicker they let you use PayPal to buy things but not to sell?? I will be selling my items elsewhere this is not good. I’ve used eBay for over 25 years and this is the thanks and other long time users get. Good way to loose customers. i will not be using ebay anymore because of this. @ebay

PayPal did not renew their contract with eBay. Now when you pay ADYEN processes your payment.
Don't assume using your debit or credit card on eBay is a risk. Using your card anywhere has the same risk.

When this change first happened there were hundreds of complaints across forums. All of which ebay ignored. So sadly one more complaint will not even register.

I totally agree with you!!. Why do buyers get all the options but Sellers have so few? Seller personal information (SSN and DOB ) is now mandatory, when before, Paypal linked to one credit card was perfectly fine. This policy is a red flag and though I'm a small seller I will take my small business elsewhere because my personal information is my business, not theirs.

You might want to remove your two listings before you get any bids.

I agree with you! Paypal is perfectly secure BECAUSE it's linked to one credit card that by law, monitors account activity, reports it and protects the cardholder. This new Ebay policy for Sellers is grossly unfair and impractical and suspect. Imagine Ebay has our bank inform!ation and our SSN and DOB, there's no telling what they can do with it. And a debit card (their other option) is also linked to our bank account and is not safe online. I trust a credit card company more than I trust Ebay. Then Ebay with its new rules for Sellers, suggests that to protect our accounts, we inconvenience ourselves by creating new accounts, new email addresses, change our password regularly, and never give out our phone number outside ebay... like, what???? Sadly in my general research I see more and more impractical layers added to online life.

And yet millions of sellers have been in Managed Payments here for years, with no problems. Personally, I love it,tho I am an infrequent seller now. And the other millions of sellers on Etsy and Amazon agree.
