I’m receiving emails that my payouts have failed & I need to contact my bank or check my info - which is correct. I’ve also seen that the issue has been corrected as of December 2 (today). However, I am still getting these emails & I have multiple payments I’m owed. Any info or resolution?? It’s sad they made these changes before having everything working...this is people’s income they’re messing with.

Quite an appetite.
IDK why this is your concern. Ebay has been pretty clear. They will be moving ALL sellers into MP. That would be 30+ million of them worldwide. It will take them time to do that with the various regulations of individual countries in play, but it will happen.

I don’t care what your point was, I think you’re rude & a nuisance.
I made this post before I knew that thousands of other people were experiencing the same issue. It’s still unresolved. So if you can’t fix the issue, why are you here??

How do we know that "thousands of other people" are experiencing the same issues? I ask because I care and I'd like to know where you read that at. I'm not trying to pick on you or anything else. I would just like to know where that piece of information came from, nothing more.

If you read the terms, ownership of your accounts receivable is transferred to eBay upon sale of your item. Then eBay decides whether to settle with you or not. There is nothing in the terms that guarantees they ever will; nay, every fan club opinion over withholding money owed to those refusing to complete the registration is strident tough **bleep**.

"We anticipate that Managed Payments transaction proceeds will generally be settled to your Linked Bank Account approximately two to seven business days after the buyer's transaction, although actual settlement times may vary for individual transactions based on circumstances such as your bank’s processing times. We may diverge from this procedure as needed for compliance or operational reasons. If we are unable to settle your proceeds, then, depending on the reason why we are unable to settle your proceeds, we may refund the buyer (e.g., when we cannot process your information for technical reasons or you violate these Payments Terms of Use, etc.) or otherwise process these funds in accordance with applicable law, including abandoned property laws, such as by escheating funds to a governmental body after the passage of an applicable period of time, or our policies."

Does the 1099 report total sales (i.e., item price + added shipping) or total payout (i.e., item price + added shipping - FVFs) as income?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the latter, then how are FVFs fees and not the discount demand of the factor on the sale of A/R?

It is basic accounting. You should be tracking whatever your business expenses are. Ebay nor any other site similar to Ebay can do that for you. They don't have access to what you paid for the product and many other costs that you may have associated with your sales. And that is certainly not the purpose of the 1099K.
1099Ks report Gross RECEIPTS, which is NOT the same thing as Gross Sales. You would use the Schedule C on your Federal Tax report to get from your Gross Receipts to your Gross Sales figures and then even down to your Net Sales [less all costs]. This hasn't changed since the day the 1099K was introduced in 2011/2012.
Even refunds and cancellations aren't taken into consideration on a 1099K.

It's different accounting. With Paypal, FVFs were not deducted from the payout. They were actual fees reported as an expense on Schedule C.
With MP this is not the case - you do not deduct FVFs in the Schedule C expense column.
