Payments on hold due to verification

This is crazy I’ve been selling online on many platforms for almost a decade now. Recently started here on EBay and after a few sales, my account went on restriction for verification. I’ve sent everything required. I call them every week, they tell me they checked my documents and they are good that the “back team” or “back office team” should release my funds in a few days. And then they never do. I am told this every week. It has been a month now. I have already stopped listing new items, debating taking down what I have up, should I just accept they are keeping my money? This is so shocking and upsetting.

@10lamonte

They deny the information you are sending in??  What is it that they don't like about it.

Please review the below link carefully. It contains very important information as to how Ebay needs to see the information you provide them on your account. It is likely easier to change your Ebay account to match your bank account if you find there to be a difference.

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Payments-Resources/Have-questions-about-payments-Check-out-this-post-f...

If your sales happened on the account you are posting with, I don't see any sales at all on this account in the last 90+ days, but there is another rule that would apply to a new or returning seller.

Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

https://export.ebay.com/en/fees-and-payments/payments/payment-holds/

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&&...

If none of this information helps you, you should consider opening your own thread as this thread is very old and will likely get closed soon.

Re: Payments on hold due to verification

I have been through all of this several times.  I have been told every day that my account will be unblocked. "the back office"  I have been told by eBay customer that most people information is getting denied. this is stupid

If everything you have submitted to have your MP account set up is accepted and approved, I'm not sure what the "back office" has to do with anything.

You are a new seller or a seller returning after 90+ days away and those last two links would apply to you.  You should really read through them.
