Payment

After the buyer has paid and it's in ebay's hand they have it where it says processing to be completed on then the date. What happens if that doesn't happen on the given date? I ask because we have certain days as sellers to have things done if not we could lose top seller and that cost us money.

Re: Payment

If you based your remark ". . . your not selling nothing" on the fact that that person has no feedback as a seller, are you aware that many eBayers have more than one ID, maybe one for selling, one for buying, and perhaps yet another one for responding here?

Re: Payment

Almost everyone that will respond is a seller – current or former. Yes, it is true that there are some that have never sold that will respond. And that’s fine – maybe great. It doesn’t negate the points that they make, lesson the impact that they might have if you follow their advice. Many of us have multiple IDs – I think I read from one poster that he has something like 10. Way too many for me to handle, but it happens.

Re: Payment

@coltsde29

People who sell and buy sometimes have two different accounts.

One to sell and one to buy.

Many times they use a buying id or a separate id to post on this forum board.

Re: Payment

Most of the responses you have are actually quite accurate.

I believe you are confusing receiving your actual funds into your bank account versus when you are supposed to ship.

You have to ship orders even though they are still "processing funds" based on what your handling time is.

If you have handling set up for 3 days then you have to ship within the three days or you get dinged.

Ebay hold funds for new sellers, returning sellers after a break and poor performing sellers.

Even if you are not one of these ebay may hold funds for a day or two and over the weekend.

Even if your funds from your buyer are not in your account you have to ship your item based on your handling time.

Re: Payment

Again, many eBayers have more than one eBay ID.

Some have one for buying, one for selling, and one for posting on the Boards.

Just because you see I have no FB as a seller under THIS ID, that does not mean I am not a current seller.  And, as mentioned in other posts, I am not the only responder here with multiple eBay IDs.

Re: Payment

You seem to think eBay should be punished in some way if you don't receive your funds immediately when the funds are finished processing, but there's a lot more that goes into when you receive your money. You haven't actually proven that you're receiving any of your money later than you should, however.  Can you elaborate on why you think that's happening?

Re: Payment

My question had nothing to do about shipping at all. I'm saying ebay gives us a date when we have to do shipping by. Like ship by .... if you dont it hurts your performance and lose TRS and lose money on sales. But ebay says processing to be completed...... and it don't happen  on the date they said nothing happens. Shouldn't ebay be held to a higher standard or at the very least the same standard.

Re: Payment

Because it said to be completed on July 26th.  After banking hours had past I talked to an ebay agent. She told me that it would be completed the 27th. No I don't want my money immediately if I did I'd pay yet another fee. I'm pretty sure it's you that don't understand.

Re: Payment

I don't think that's a good thing at all. To me it seems like your hidding your feedback for some reason or another. When you look at people's feedback it says buyer and sellers.  But you don't want to show one or the other there must be a reason

Re: Payment

People that have bad feedback have 2 usernames. So they can hide it

Re: Payment

Because they have bad feedback, so they set up another account so they can hide it. That's the only reason anyone would do that. You hide bad feedback

Re: Payment

No I don't think that at all "rockstar". They  should be punished for telling us processing to be completed on August 3 and they don't do that. Do you understand? We have to do what they say. They say must ship by August 3. Can we do what they do and ship August 4? No if we do we get "punished " for it. Right? Yes. They do the same thing and nothing happens. Sorry I can't draw a picture for you Rockstars to understand what I'm saying.

Re: Payment

I understand that completely. But that's not at all what I was asking about. Do you think it is alright for ebay to say processing to be completed today. But actually it's not it's later then they say. Nothing happens to them when they lie to us.

Re: Payment

If the money  says processing it is not mine. If it was mine I could do the half-hour thing to get my money if it was mine. You can't therefore it isn't yours. This community forum is to help people out. So if you don't know what your talking about you shouldn't say anything at all.
