My payments are on hold, My ITIN # is expired and the H&R block tel-me to file TAX to Fix the Problem.
eBay just Block my Payments: Another time I say, The Problem is a not qualified people doing the work.
The right thing to do is analyze the Problem and Guide the Seller with the right information to fix the Problem.
One seller needs to do much work that makes eBay enjoy easy money without improving the Administration.
Is time to say WEE Have other Choices Growing up every day.

Are you having problems signing up for Managed Payments? Is the problem that you have no (valid) ITIN, or no SSN at all?

Have a look to the right hand side of this page >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Nothing there to help you?
When I signed up for eBay I don't recall seeing anywhere in their TOS stating that I could expect them to hold my hand all through my years of doing business here.

I'm not sure I understand. If your TIN has expired, then Ebay does NOT have correct information on your account. Ebay can't fix this issue, you need to contact IRS to fix the problem. Then once you have it fixed, notify Ebay right away.
I'm pretty confident that H&R Block doesn't know the first thing about what Ebay needs or is required to have for MP.
Yes you do have other choices. And if you pick one of the bigger sites like Ebay to sell on, you are going to have the same problems. If you go some of the smaller sites and start using a different Money Processor or go back to PayPal, you are going to have this exact same problem as they need your SSN or TIN.

eBay needs to explain what the problem is and how to fix it.
That is how does the Administration. eBay just like punishing the seller.
I'm doing the fix of my documents, But returning to eBay is a masochist!
To do business, need documents and a corporation with good ideas.

To everyone, underlain business needs Administration and different solutions for Problems.
One problem may be having a different structure. The Process of thinking creates a Platform of Administration.

If your TIN has expired for some reason Ebay has NOTHING to do with that and can't offer you any help. I don't know why you think they can. They are required by LAW to have your accurate SSN, TIN or EIN on file. So Ebay is simply stuck and will continue to hold your funds until such time as you get the issue with your TIN fixed.
And to get your TIN fixed, you have to contact IRS. I simply don't know why you think Ebay can help you with this or should be responsible for fixing it.

you use a lot of big words that mean nothing for the issue at hand which is an easy fix but just not something that eBay needs to do or can fix...this is a problem YOU need to fix..

When one ITIN document expires, Renew is the solution, and this takes 2 months for IRS to Complete all.

Wow, that is a long time to have to wait for MP to release your funds. Hopefully you have started the process with IRS. Or you started it a couple months ahead of it expiring so it should get resolved soon??

It is not eBay's responsibility to explain to you how to keep your business documents up to date and valid. That is your responsibility.
ITIN numbers are provided by the IRS, here is some information about them, referring to their expiration and what to do about it:

Imagine one document expired and eBay says "no more payments for you".
My money is there, Not replay, because eBay is over for me.
I do not accept the Terms of eBay, I can afford to stay away from eBay!

This isn't just any document, it is your Federal Tax Identification number. If you had been proactive and filed for the update BEFORE your number expired, you wouldn't be having this problem.
Now I get it how you can forget to take care of this proactively. Not that we should, but I understand forgetting to do stuff. You just have to be realistic about it, if you are expecting Ebay to fix a problem that Ebay CAN'T fix, you are just going to get increasingly frustrated and be without your money for an even longer period of time.
Hopefully by now you have applied to IRS for a renewed number? If you haven't, you are only complicating your problem. Did you file the proper paperwork with the IRS?

... how did you think expiration dates worked? That's what an expiration date means: it expires on that date and will no longer work after that. If my passport expires, I can't travel abroad until I get it renewed. If my driver's license expires, I can't drive until I get it renewed. That's why you make sure to renew those kinds of things before they expire and you end up in a situation exactly like this.
