Now I know I'm not the brightest person in the world, but I need help with Managed Payments reports!

How do I find separate totals for each month for eBay fees, promoted fees, sales taxes, shipping costs, total sales, etc.?  Do I have to get a full transaction report and figure these totals myself?  Maybe I'm missing something that is available, but have had no luck finding monthly totals so far.

Try going to Seller Hub>Performance>Sales

If you want to use (download) the csv reports available you can save the reports as Excel files and use auto sum to get the totals you need.
