Need some practical answers on Managed Payments

I need some information on MP.  Here are my questions.

Once you sign up for MP and are told you are part of the system, do all your listings change from PayPal only to MP automatically?

If they do not change right away, do they change to MP when a listing automatically rolls over on GTC listings,  or do they stay at PayPal only for an many times as they roll?

Last question:  If GTC listings stay at PayPal only when they roll, what happens if you end them and then relist them as a "sell similar"?  Does MP kick in then or is it only when you make a new listing?

As I understand it all but (auction that has bids on it) will be converted to MP.

This was the way it was with me when it happened.

Depending on what goods you are selling, one of two things happens when MP is activated.  Either eBay allows your listings to continue, or eBay deletes them.   There is a lengthy list of goods that you will not be able to sell under MP, including coins and cars.  When you see "restricted items" mentioned, this refers to the "coins and cars" list. 

Initially, I thought eBay Motors was going to continue and that "restricted items" referred to items that are objectionable.  This was my "common sense."  I learned otherwise when eBay trashed my listings which I had carefully prepared.
