Month long payouts?

I’ve just sold my first item in a while. It says I won’t get my money for a month! What’s up with that? Have you all had similar situations? How’s that fair if I’m having to pay these shipping costs?

Ebay has a "hold"  rule for new sellers or those that haven't sold in a while, or those that sell more expensive stuff than usual.  When you go to the shipping page, scroll down to the bottom and there should be an option to use "pending" funds to pay for the shipping so you don't have to "front" that.

New sellers can have their funds held for 21 days, but they usually release them a day or two after tracking shows the item was delivered.
