Managed Payments and shipping question

This is our first day on the managed payment program and when I purchased a label for an item that sold this morning the shipping charges were pulled from my paypal account.  I was under the impression that all charges would now be coming out of our bank account.  Does anyone know if there is something that I need to change or do in order to have shipping come out of our bank instead of paypal?  I don't want to have to not only track payments now, but have to maintain a balance in paypal for shipping as well!!!  This is all very confusing, any help is much appreciated!😃

I still have an Ebay invoice that will be automatically pulled on the 31st, normally from paypal, should I leave enough in there to cover that or will they pull that from my bank now?  Oh the confusion lol😂

@mtnbrodon   If that's how you want your fees to be paid then yes you better leave money there OR you can choose another automatic payment method.  I use my credit card.

Go to the payments tab on seller hub and then on the right hand side under settings> automatic payment method> edit

Re: Managed Payments and shipping question

@mtnbrodon   Next time you print a label at the bottom of the screen you can choose to use the MP pending funds to pay for the label OR use paypal to buy your labels.  It will stay on your selected method until you change it again

Personally, I keep a zero balance in PayPal so I can use a credit card to pay for my labels and get credit card points.  It's not a lot since I am a small shipper but it makes it easier for me to keep track of too.

Re: Managed Payments and shipping question

To add to the good info that @comics-scifi-collectibles has posted, you need to have a zero balance in your PayPal account before you can pull from your bank account.

I ship from my bank account, too. I've kept a zero PayPal balance since joining MP. Good luck!

So if I zero out my paypal, they will use the card that I have attached to the paypal correct?  Thanks for the info, I greatly appreciate it!!

@mtnbrodon   Yes that's correct as long as you have the credit card set as your designated payment method in your PayPal wallet.
