Managed Payments - The way we get paid now - Very sad state of affairs - Unhappy Extremely Unhappy

They just changed the way we get paid - I moved 80% of what I had on eBay to another site - If a buyer pays you it is days to process and then days to get paid putting a delay in shipping to my buyers I use to ship same day or next morning I updated and not happy at all not having fast payments - I'm still listing a few things till I find another place that works with paypal  People here locally said they are going to stop shopping on eBay Dark days a head  - we are forced to except this way of doing business - I had zero problem with Paypal fee's 

I'm just putting my two cents on here 

I have even done graded my store and stopped International sales people do not like waiting 

This is what I have on everything I have listed now

I can't tell you how fast I'd back out of a listing that included that kind of verbiage.

Wow... that'll scare 'em off. A disclaimer is an idea that certainly works, but take out the emotion. Less is more.

No one is going to read that, and your grievance with MP is really not your buyers' problem.  I would get rid of that and simply set your handling out to five days.

That's only going to hurt you, when buyers find another seller.

I've been using the same program on another site and I ship the same or next day and never had any problems receiving payments.

There my payouts are weekly, they send them Monday and the funds are in my account Tuesday morning.

Here, payout is Tuesday and funds are in my account Wednesday morning.

Wow that was fast replies  and my buyers are use to me shipping fast and my feedback shows it 

Simple I'm straight to the point and have been since I started - I do ok till this mess 

I'll follow what your all saying and try to respond it is on my page and will stay there.

I miss the paypal nothing more nothing less - now I'll get slow shipping remarks on my star thing

Thank you for your point of view - I  have rare NASA items you won't find with other sellers they are going on my own website - my point of view as stated 2 days processing and another few days to my bank - personally don't like it we are forced to do this - the old way was fine with me

I've been in Managed Payments for months now. I have one day handling time, and when possible, ship same day. As long as the buyer has paid, I pay for shipping (using ebay labels) through my "pending payments"...absolutely NO reason to wait for the money to hit my bank account. I have not had to delay a single shipment because of Managed Payments.

Thank you for your point of view - you do business your way and I will stick to mine - nothing ships till I'm paid - it is very simple I lay out enough money with other things with my restoration business - I'm not doing it on here to - I'm not bank of America

You do understand that you can purchase your Shipping label directly out of your pending funds as soon as Ebay notifies you that payment has been received - right?

You HAVE been paid as soon as Ebay notifies you that they have received the buyers money. There is no need to drag things out by waiting for the transfer to your bank.

Well, they sure will stop shopping with you! For most sellers it's business as usual.  You have total control over when you ship, you chose not to ship next day. Ebay confirms its safe to ship, but you refuse to believe this. Any shipping cost comes out of your pending payout, so you don't need to pay out of pocket.

The 3-4 days to reach bank account is a general statement to include those who bank at small institutions. My payouts are deposited next day and I signed up for weekly payouts not daily. I realize selling online requires one not depend on each sale to support the next.

Ebay doesn't care if the lose some sellers, as they're replace everyday with others selling on ebay for the first time and having to sign up for Managed Payments to do so.

Good Luck finding a site that's Paypal only, as there aren't any with substantial traffic. Some payout only weekly, one makes you wait until the buyer has the item X number of days or has left feedback, others use the same type CC processor as ebay.

Life is always in motion, you either adjust or let it pass you by.

Well, this was a joyful experience coming on social forum to voice how I felt

I thank you all for your opinions - I won't be responding any further - not because I don't like what some have to say - It is because I have a restoration business - and work late hours

Good message and great idea.

New accounts do not use MP, they are PayPal. Unfortunately Ebay would not transfer feedback between accounts.
