Reluctantly, I provided Ebay with my bank account information so I could continue selling, as per their new Managed Payment System requirement. I made my first sale under the new system on Friday, 5/21. It is now Tuesday, 5/25 and the funds from the sale have still not been deposited into my bank account. According to Ebay, they are still "processing" the payment. Mind you, under the old system, the funds would have been deposited into my Paypal account immediately on 5/21. I now have the buyer asking me why I haven't shipped their item yet. As per my shipping policy on Ebay, I ship within 3-5 business days from "receipt" of funds. Ebay is telling me that I have the funds. My bank account says differently. If this experience is going to be typical going forward, I am seriously considering leaving Ebay after 16 great years. Thanks for sticking it to the little guy Ebay.

It's exactly typical. You should pay for your shipping immediately using MP funds. Paypal is gone and not coming back. When money went into Paypal it wasn't in your checking account either. Once eBay says you have been paid....ship.

It typically takes about two business days for ebay to process the payment and another two business days for the payment to reach your bank.

As soon as eBay says to ship you need to ship. If your handling is 5 days then you will have 5 days after eBay says to ship.
It doesnt matter if the money is in your bank.
When eBay says ship, you ship.
Once the payment processes it is paid out daily or weekly, depending on what you have chosen. Then it can take you to 3 days to reach your checking account.
This is how the system works now.

I've been in MP since August, 2019. I experience my buyer's payment being my bank deposit in 3 business days.

Pay Pal didn't wait for the payment to process like Ebay, they knew the payment was good and they would receive the funds in a few days, that's why they gave you instant access to the funds.
If the sale was made Friday, the funds should be available today, if they are and if you're on daily payouts, the funds should be sent to your checking account tomorrow.
The time it takes to hit your checking account, depends on your bank, my funds are in my checking account the next morning.
They didn't stick it to the little guy, everyone will be using MP.

I'm not certain on this, but I don't think ebay will release the funds to you until you have actually shipped the item. I've been using Managed Payments for around a year with no major issues. Payout usually happens next day and takes a day or two for the payout to "clear" my pending on my bank account.

No, comrade, my funds were immediately available in my PayPal account. I did not have to wait days or more for MY money with PayPal, unlike now. I ONLY ship when my money is in MY HANDS, I have had to lengthen out my handling times to at least 5 days, probably will go to 7 soon because of the horse&%$# managed payments debacle. Let WOKebay ding me I do not care anymore about pleasing the monolith that is WOKEbay 2021. When WOKEbay hold my money too long, I will contact my buyer, explain that WOKEbay managed payment system has held up the sale because they are withholding funds from me for unknown reasons and offer a refund. Bottom line is this system sucks for buyers and sellers, the only party making out NOW is WOKebay, and that is only until they finish killing WOKebay off.

Shipping the item makes no difference on when they release the funds to your checking account, unless you are a new seller and your funds are being held.

If you're waiting that long to ship, you're only hurting yourself.
Buyers will find another seller that ships quicker.

PP used to "front" my buyers payment when it was still processing. eBay/MP/Adyen does not.
I have been in MP for over 21 months, and with hundreds of items shipped within my handling time (without changing my handling time) I have never had a payment fail to reach my checking account once eBay "confirmed" that payment.
Delaying the stated shipping does not make for happy buyers.
PP money was "virtually" in our hands instantly, but could be snatched back by PP for 180 days.

No, I sell items that are usually quite hard to find or unique. I am not hurting myself, it is the lemmings that accept poor decisions made by WOKEbay hurting EVERYONE!!! It wasn't broke, didn't need fixing. Managed Payments are the NEW COKE of internet commerce. Thankfully this is just a hobby for me, and I buy what I sell right. I MAKE A PROFIT EVERY TIME I SELL, even with WOKEbays outrageous fees. I like the KISS Theory, Keep It Simple Stupid, it ain't that anymore and taking PayPal as my deposit choice also hurts everyone. Sales and views are down since the changes and it ain't only me. WOKEbay is committing internet suicide in front of you.

Keep drinking the WOKEbay koolaid, comrade... feedback @92, hundreds of items sold, something doesn't add up...

I usually list more items. As in this week. And I have 25 Listed. But I think I'll wait before Listing more & see how this goes with Other Sellers---on this New "Managed Payments" Fiasco. Starting next week, I'll be looking into Other Selling Sites.
Good luck Guys !!! 'Looks like the Party...is about Over', EH ?
