I don't think they are paying me the right amount for one of my sales,
and I want to ask them about it.
Aren't they supposed to pay the store seller the purchase price, less FV fee?
In this case I did not print out an ebay label because I did not know how to add insurance to it. So I took the item to the PO and bought the shipping label there and paid with my credit card.

Payouts are very confusing. EBAY immediately deducts (EBAY selling fees + shipping costs). Shipping is being "held for you" so when you print label their will be "pending funds" available.
Because you purchased label at the post office (not sure if "pending funds" (shipping money) gets refunded to you or if it stays in your "pending funds" (for future use).

You will probably get a faster and more accurate response if you post the details of the transaction here.
A screen shot of the fee details page would be good.

Item final value + Shipping charged to purchaser + tax if any; total amount is then charged the final value fee.
If international charge applies that is also deducted.... as well, as any promotional fees that may exist if you used such.
Hope that helps you.

An eBay payout is an accumulation of all of the available funds at the time the payout is initiated.
So you cannot look at a payout amount and assume that it only represents a single item. It can include any number of line items - payments from buyers, postage labels, insertion fees, store subscriptions, listing upgrades, refunds, shipping surcharges, etc.
You need to go into the payout detail which will show you every credit and debit that made up the payout amount.
IMHO you should not waste time calling eBay until you know exactly which line items on your payout detail that you think are incorrect.

No there’s no number. The algorithms are set up for them to take out their percentage on everything including shipping and taxes. Your percentage of fees depends on many things. Type of item you are selling, store, top rated seller status etc. It can be anywhere from 10% (which if you’re asking questions about this your rate is definitely higher) to 16%. I don’t know what they charge in each category but I know mine is in the high 12%.

You need no phone number. Go to your Seller Hub/Payments. Click on the order in question and the page will pop open to show you exactly the amount of FVFs charged, and a separate line item for the $.30 processing fee. If you paid for your own shipping at the PO, the number you see will be the amount you're looking for. Good luck... it's really easy.
