Immediate payment option

I know this has come up before but even following the advice I cannot get to the bottom of this.

I am a private UK seller and have just prepared a new listing using my usual practice of Auction and Open to offers, not BIN. I have not asked for immediate payment but ebay insists I must do so which means, I believe that I must use BIN and not Auction, which is not what I want to do. Ebay will not list as it stands. I have never had this problem before. in over 20 years of usage.

I have no recollection of having set an Immediate payment requirement, nor can I find anything on my account to enable me to check or change it if it has been set. I cannot see a Buyers Requirements option available anywhere for example which people have referred to in other replies. Am I being thick and missing something obvious. It's driving me mad!

You're registered on eBay UK, but this is eBay USA. There have been a lot of recent updates for private sellers in the UK, so the two sites are now very different.

Here is information about setting buyer's requirements on eBay UK.

Re: Immediate payment option

Thanks Lacemaker3, but this link does not provide the answer to my question, in essence  it simply sets who can buy from me, unless, again, I am missing something.

It's there, so you must have missed it.

You have to read the instructions and click on the links. If you have more questions about this, you should ask on the eBay UK community.
