Something must have changed since I last sold on eBay.
I am not equipped to accept credit card payments, yet numerous cards are listed under payment in my listing!
I prefer to accept only PayPal, although I realize eBay is breaking up (or has already "broken up") with Paypal.
Yet if PayPal is an option for payment, why can't I select it as the only option and oh, but the way, who processes the credit card payments? Geeezzz.

You don't need to be equipped for taking credit cards, all that is handled by this platform. Buyers can now purchase using PP, or credit cards, or debit cards, etc. Sellers have nothing to do with that portion, your sales will filter into your bank account afterwards. It's one of the benefits to using a platform such as this to sell online, you don't need to bother yourself with getting set up to accept other forms of payment. Best of luck to you....

Did you check PayPal to see if the payment is there? I have a credit card as a backup on PayPal. Maybe the credit card is going through PayPal?

You don't control how the buyer can pay. It's been that way for a very long time. Your listing shows that you accept credit cards because either PayPal or eBay's Managed Payments processor will handle those payments. You don't have to be equipped to accept CC payments yourself.
How long has it been since you last sold? Must have been more than a decade.

Pay Pal will process the credit card payments and deposit the funds in your Pay Pal account.

No, only about 2 years ago, must have been before you were born.
