Why were you put on the "No Bid" list?

What is the "No Bid List"?
Who put you on the list and why?
And I'm sorry you had Covid, but what does that have to do with any list on eBay?

@rspe9062 There is no such thing as a "no bid list" on eBay. Sellers have Buyer requirements they set up and one criteria they can set is the number of Unpaid item strikes that Buyers have ... 2 or more in 12 months and Buyers can have trouble bidding or buying from a good number of Sellers.
I suspect that is what you are running in to more than anything else.
Sellers also have a Blocked bidder's list but they have to put a Buyer's ID on that list in order for the Buyer to be blocked. While this may be an issue too unless you have purchased from someone who put you on that list there is no reason you would be on a Seller's list who never dealt with you ...

Did you get sick and were unable to pay, forcing the seller to issue Unpaid Item strikes against you?
Now that those strikes have aged off, you still find yourself blocked?
Sellers rarely remove a user from their Blocked Bidder List.
What happens when you try to bid? Is it just one seller or all sellers?

Sellers can block buyers that didn't pay for 2 or more items.
I'm sooooo very sorry you had Covid-19, and very glad you survived. 7 of my family members had it and my best friend and her husband have it and she has pneumonia now and may have to go on a ventilator any minute. It is no joke. eBay makes no allowances for situations beyond your control. Not all sellers block non paying bidders so you could still try to buy. The blocks age off after a year. 🙏

it woud appear that maybe you had some UPI`s or NPB`s
a couple of those and you can end up on some sellers list or blocked for strikes against you
they will age off after a year....if you have a favorite seller maybe they can put you on the exclude list so the blocks do not apply
some ebayers swear that blocks do nothing but you are proof that they do work
welcome back

I had covid and could not pay for 2 items for a while. I have since then made it right with these sellers. I still am un able to bid on the model horses I love.

I am not on their list, it is with all of them. No worries I am listening. It says I have 2 un paid items, but I don't any more so I am confused.

I can buy but I can't bid from any of them. Thank you I am grateful to be alive for real !

If you're blocked from bidding ask the seller to put your name on their blocked bidder exemption list. Explain you had Covid-19 and couldn't pay but you worked it out with the sellers and you'd like to bid, or ask if they would make it a buy now immediate payment required.

@rspe9062 That explains it, the Unpaid item strikes are not Seller specific, they are account specific and only apply to you if a Seller has their Buyer requirement set for 2 Unpaid strikes in the last 6 - 12 months.

when did that get changed (the blocks age off after a year)??..... I always thought blocked bidder list was permeant and removal was a manual process.
I do not want anyone other than me to modify my BBL.
