I NEVER authorize direct debits to my bank accounts (not even from my credit card!!!) and it won't be ebay that will force me to do it. It's pure and simple arrogance!!!
It's up to ebay... but it's up to me to decide who runs my bank accounts.
The new payment method only benefits ebay and sucks for both sellers and buyers.
Who is ebay to think they have the right to charge a citizen's bank accounts directly?

I hope you find another platform to sell on which is more acceptable to you.
Good luck in your future endeavours.

I truly wish for you only the best moving forward. Don't waste your time being upset about eBay and their platform. Go find your new journey and know that it can lead you to places you may never of thought.

All this stress simply isn't necessary. If you want to sell on Ebay there are ways to easily work with MP.
To start, attach a separate Checking account. There is no requirement for you to use your main personal account. I set up a separate checking account a long time ago and I drop all my online sales into this account. Keeping it separate from the account I use personally has make bookkeeping so much easier and cleaner.
But good luck in whatever you decide to do.

It doesn't suck for me. It was an easy change and I adapted quickly and I still make money on ebay.

The owner of this site, their game, their rules. AND your agreement with them.
