Help this make sense why im only getting 18.77 payout

Im sorry my mind is spinning what am I missing? Item was 17.99 PLUS 12.00 Shipping plus 2.17 tax for TOTAL 32.16. My "payout" to the bank says 18.77?? I bought the shipping label for 3.51. In my mind Im at 32.16 minus 3.51 plus there taxes and fees. So why 18.77 payout? TYIA

Hello! You’re my first reply! Haha. I think all of that depends a lot on the category you sold in, whether or not you get a top rated seller discount and did you have any extra ad fees, listing fees etc. I read the sale was for $17.99, taxes were $2.17 and shipping was $3.51 — you charged seller $12.00? What were the Selling/Ad Fees? I know a normal Final Value fee would be $17.99+$2.17 X .117 and then add $0.30. Essentially 11.7% of your TOTAL sale amount including taxes & fees- I don’t think it includes shipping bc that is displayed as an entirely different fee. However, if you have your item listed in certain categories, your 11.7% Final Value Fee will be different. If it were just a regular category, your Final Value Fee Fee would be $2.66 

The closest I could get to your amount (haha bc all I’m doing is playing on a calculator with the numbers- I’m no mathematician!) 

$17.99 + $3.51 (shipping) - $2.66 (Final Value Fee) which equals

TOTAL of $18.84 as a  NET PAYOUT 

I don’t think the tax is ever given to us as a NET PAYOUT. 

Shipping fees are listed separately (If you look in payments —> All Transactions, you can see everything that you had a fee for.) If you charged $12.00 but the actual charge was only $3.51, I don’t you get the difference. Do you have the shipping on FLAT RATE or CALCULATED? 

Hahah I haven’t even gotten to the Total you received- but I got kinda close lol. Is it possible an Ad fee or shipping fee from ANOTHER ORDER was included in your payout (I don’t know if you’re looking at the ORDER payout or what you got paid for the day.) I get paid each day, but a lot of the times, one items final value fee will affect today’s payment but the shipping or the net amt will be included in tomorrow’s payment…

Thank you so much. You did help a lot! Im going to try to attach a pic so people can see what im talking about.  Yes I had flat rate shipping fee of 12 bucks and the label was 3 ..so the 12 is out the window? I only get what the shipping label was right? 

It starting to maybe make sense. I got 32..after fees came to 25 and then with the shipping labels came to 18. You are awesome though I really appreciate it

I think they’re confusing the postage for this item and the K-cups they sold on the same day.

it wasnt lol..i had a flat rate of 12 bucks and when it sold purchased the label through ebay and thats what it charged me

Well, then you will get quite the surprise when that package moves along in the process.

Likely there will be additional charges.

An 8 pound box can not ship for $3.51.

$3.51 was the rate for 8 ounces to zone 4.

Your $17.99 item weighed in excess of 8 pounds.

Yes, I think I understand it now...it was the ebay fee i guess didnt expect it to be 7 bucks.

EDIT: NO it wasnt..it was the other label I printed on that day as well and I guess I hit take from funds instead of pending funds. Because the number came out even .    

Net: $25.65

Label: $3.51

Label: $3.37

All comes to $18.77   wow that was making me go crazy

Great that it worked out, but keep an eye out for a charge back from the carrier on that $3.51 label, as it is possible that the APV could take issue with it.
