I just deleted my listings and I'm off to other venues that allow me to choose PayPal as my preferred banking option.   I have 6585 feedback with 100% positive.   Bye eBay...it has been fun....

By the way, don't close your account.  Try a dozen other sites but don't kill that feedback.  Who knows?  You may come back someday.

I too have explored some other selling methods. But eBay is still a good selling venue and yes the MP is a  forced error by eBay. But agree with other poster. Don't throw hard earned feedback out with the bath water.

Yeah, I left several months ago, but I didn't close my account; and like the others in this thread, I'll say the same, don't close your account.

But I do differ a bit from your op, like in, it's been fun. And, as for me, no, not really, oh, sure, in the very beginning, it was fun, but that was many many years ago, no, it's hasn't been fun for a very long time, in fact, it's been quite stressful for a very long time: eBay's never ending shabby policies have been like bitter bitter horse pills to swallow, and to stay in eBay's stable, swollen them, you must.

Don't expect too much "fun" at the other venues. Most have their own version of managed payments and the ones who still use PayPal have very little traffic compared to here.

Bonanza offers seamless Paypal integration. Had eBay simply asked for a CC to bill no one would have blinked.

Unlimited free listings. 3% FVFs. 1,300:1 vs. 10:1 buyer/seller ratio - I always feel my listings are up against the mass of a small star.

Perhaps eBay will extend the deadline and allow itself time to think.
