Gift cards problem

is anyone encountered this problem with gift cards? I had e gift cards uploaded on Ebay all was fine. My purchase was bigger than amount in gift cards. So i added gift cards, that gave me balance which i used my bank for that amount. Transaction was going through. But was suddenly reversed. Its not a problem. Banks do that. They call if they feel that they need to protect you. So i wasnt worried. Money their back in my account from my bank. So purchase never happened, but all 4 gift cards funds disappeared. I called right away reported ebay. They said no problem 2-7 business days all going to be back. I called and called. I spoke at least to 10 managers. So finally someone told me oh you havent uploaded proof of purchase, etc… so i uploaded, and have been calling almost every day. Finally on April 11 i got manager in US i was assured that she is going to solve it in 2 days. I did not got any follow up, so on 13th i called again and manager by my request were able to contact previous manager. I was assured that gift card team received my paperwork and my refund is processing and its going to be up to 30 business days. I was assured and even told on the record that i will receive as account credit, because gift cards are destroyed now. On May second, 30 business days and no money! I called again again 72 hrs . May 5th manager in us told me she will get answers on Monday following with phone call at certain time…. Yes no phone call. Again dealing with new manager saying the same thing. I mean its clearly shows first the cards were attached to my account, because transaction did go through but was reversed. Every manager saw what item was intended to purchase. I provided screenshot from my bank account. Which no way could be released that amount, it item i was purchasing was around 2300, its clearly all add up. One manager even told me, that he doesnt understand why they even asked proof of purchase, if cards clearly are recorded that are attached to my account. I am absolutely frustrated. Honestly never saw such a fraudulent and allusive corporation. I am not just someone who is clueless about laws, i do know very well constitutional laws and fraud of justice system. I know how to go after corporations. I did mailed certain documents , which are super powerful, to headquarters, but they are so allusive, the mail was delivered to the agent. If anyone knows how to get mail be delivered to certain department of headquarters. Well i could get served but i have to spend money. Anyone had this type of issue and if anyone got favorable solution please advise thank you kindly. Ucc1-308;Ucc1-103.6

Run a search here on the forum about gift cards.  Just too many problems with them.  I really wish Ebay would discontinue all gift cards. Too many people getting scammed. Never rely on Ebay customer service.  They are famous for giving inaccurate and false info.   Sorry for your situation.

Thank you so much. I never encountered such issues. Its nothing wrong with the cards problem is that this corporation is shady. And  this type of doing business, will end! New financial system is coming. And it will not allow corporations anymore take advantage of the people. Honestly i never encountered such allusive business. I mean the biggest corporations all shipping companies, amazon, i mean even big banks, you have ability to contact headquarters . If this continue any longer, i will consider process server. I might try first direct signature required , i dont know yet what i am going to do

You're trying to purchase a $2300 item with gift cards?

You can only redeem $1000 in gift cards on a single purchase, and a maximum of $1500 per month.

Have you tried contacting eBay through Facebook eBay for Business or on twitter.com/askebay?

You have now posted twice about your gift card issue.  

How about returning to one or the other and give a clear explanation of what happened.

You mention contacting "managers".  Are these "managers" eBay employees or gift card company employees?  

And, again, let me repeat my statement in your other threads:  Gift cards are nonrefundable and untraceable.  Your messages are, quite frankly, so rambling that it's hard to figure out what's happened so far.

I responded. Yes they are not refundable. I wanted my gift card credits back, and not refund. And second my circumstances were not usual. I responded in full explanation kindly

Since your original message is from May 8, 2023, and is now over a month old, just curious, did your problem with gift cards ever get resolved?

Yes i wrote full reply explaining all the process, but for some reason i dont see it. So yes it took 3 months, from the day it happened. I called probably 20 times to ebay. I was persistent, ….. and on June 12, i received all  4 cards back, to my account, with funds, i already used them, towards great find, was a great day .

If the issue was resolved, what are you complaining about now?

I am not complaining! Someone asked me if the issue was resolved. And i answered! No need to be rude!
