Hi, I was told by Ebay that Funds available within 3 days of order delivery is not just for new sellers but for all sellers and it went in effect over a year ago. Is it true that they are doing that for ALL sellers?. Thank you

eBay isn’t holding funds on ALL sellers. If you were told that by an outsourced CS rep on the phone you were simply being told what you wanted to hear to get you off the phone. Those reps are notorious for giving misinformation.
My funds haven’t been held in years.
Payout holds are generally geared towards new and infrequent sellers along with sellers suddenly selling high ticket items

let me guess....the 450 sale is being held a little longer...
that sale is twice your previous highest sale, and way above your "average" sale...
...that may trigger an extra day or two under the policy.....
From the help & contact page(s):
Unusual selling patterns may lead to transaction holds where funds are released 3 days after delivery confirmation or 30 days after the order is placed

As stated in the email that was sent to me about a month ago, this is a "feature" being rolled out to ALL SELLERS in waves.
I've been here 26 years and have the same funds hold applied. So do many other sellers. If you don't have the funds hold yet, you will be having it soon. It's not just for "high risk" and "new" sellers, it's coming to everyone.
FWIW, if you sell on Amazon, you've always had to wait over a week post-delivery for funds availability. While this may feel like a one-two punch to your cashflow, this is still more lenient.

I doubt that…I never received an email from eBay about that.

That's a misinterpretation of what's being said, though an understandable one.
All sellers are subject to the policy that can result in funds being held.
Not all sellers will trigger the criteria that leads to their funds actually being held.
Those criteria are not publicly available, btw, to avoid them being circumvented.

I’ve never gotten the email you referenced. As a matter of fact I got message the your bank is eligible for expedited payouts.
There was bottom to upgrade. I have done so because I want to make sure it doesn’t cost more. I get my money 2 days after the sale in most cases.

Nope.
I've had holds when I started a new account (I use several accounts with different focuses) but ya know, that's really no big deal. The more you sell the fewer times you see that and now it's been years.
