Ebay can't verify stakeholder details??

Anyone out there that has successfully navigated this issue?  I've uploaded my driver's license and info about ten times now.  The name on the ebay account is exactly the same as what's on the driver's license.  I've triple/quadruple checked all the other address, dob, ss info.  Still keeps getting rejected.  Not sure if this is some glitch or what, but it's worrisome...

I have the same thing, my wife is listed as a stakeholder of my LLC, Ebay has her info, payouts are being held now because they need further verification of stakeholder details.

Same thing here! I have updated info, uploaded passport and license multiple times and now asking for stakeholders info (I have none) but not giving me any place to fill in this detail.....just asking for ID's AGAIN! Someone please let me know what is going on! Thanks

I cannot comment on the LLC and Stakeholder thing but I can comment on the Quality of the Picture ID being sent. 

I first sent mine by scanning front, then back on the same page. Was 300 DPI and Black/White. No response except the red banner asking for Picture ID reappeared 1 day later.

So, I put the 'scan' at the highest level and in Color- the 'Front' separate from the 'Back' and the picture of the ID was much larger (could view it before scanning)- sent that

It worked.

Well, it seems that my situation has been resolved.  I wish I knew how or why, but I have no idea.  Also, I didn't receive any acknowledgement that all was well, but the red banner and payment hold notice went away, and I did receive my normal payout today.  It's pretty scary that some type of glitch can derail someone's livelihood so easily without any apparent recourse.  I think eBay needs to create a new "sellers' advocate" department, similar to what the IRS has for situations like this.  Some way to bypass all the automation and talk to a real person who can actually help.  The offshore csr's reading from a script just don't cut it.

Thanks for this thread.  I just got the email after I re-submitted my license.  They already had it on file from when I signed up for MP.  Mine said, 

Here's what happened You recently updated some details for your stakeholders. Unfortunately, we couldn't verify all the details and still need your help.

Please update your stakeholder information by Dec 16, 2022 to release your held payouts and avoid further restrictions.

I hope that inserted correctly. 

I have no stakeholders.  

Has anybody had problems with this after a couple days went by? I still have a payout scheduled and hopefully nothing will be held.

I had the same problem after scanning my driving licence from my scanner to my PC and received various “further verification needed” emails from eBay up to half hour later after each upload. I finally resolved it by using the camera on my iphone and taking a picture under a light bulb which help reveal all the ghosted details on the license similar to when a bank note is held up to the light. I uploaded this image to the verification page using my phone and had no problems since touch wood.

I am also having this issue...they sent me another email and I replied to them that I had in fact uploaded the front and back of the drivers license in color, visible, etc...

They said the back of the license was not in color, so they could not accept it.  In Illinois, the back of the license has NO color, it is black and white...but they will not accept without color.

Anybody else ran in to this?

Same thing..Xmas Eve it started

7 devices with multiple pics of drivers lic ..

Total of 150 pics sent..none work says back of lic is black and white..duh? Bc it's just that black and white!

Somebody should sue these idiots for harassment

They need to go after overseas sellers who screw buyers in USA ..can't ever return items bc of shipping cost there..

Said to upload new pic  but cant change a state lic..idiots guessing the end of  my 32 yrs on eBay

They won't or don't know how to fix situation or really don't get a crap

Moved my listing to 3 sites today and already have a sale..bye eBay and all that crap they out seller thru..

I am going through this currently.   I was told the photo had a minor blur/shadow.  I have sent it AGAIN, while on the phone with seller support who could tell I'm very upset about having to continuously bend of backwards to make them happy.

This sounds bad. That is the latest info they asked me for, part of a month long hold on my funds, lots of funds. Also gave them bank statements, which felt reckless. This will be my last eBay selling experience. Holding thousands of dollars from a perfectly legitimate seller is abusive.
