So, EBAY collect the money from your sale ,take their dues (12.7%), then 3 days later the money is transferred to your bank: Your bank may take up to 2 extra days to clear the payment. % days total to see any funds fromyour EBAY sale. Meanwhile your sold item has been shipped the day of sale. The buyer will receive the purchased item before you get paid. It stinks.

Wow Be glad its not the old old days when you had to wait for a check on MO and process that.
Welcome to the real world: Ebay's MP does not float the payment like PP did. Not worth the risk to them.

The fee is 12.55% plus 30 cents per transaction [just like PP]. The 30 cents is charged whether the transaction was for $1.00 or $1000. The amount is the same.

EBAY signals it sent your payment... no confirmation number, then the notice of payment can not be seen again. In the 21st century, it takes EBAY 2 or 3 days to (process) your payment and send said payment to your bank, The entire process should be speeded up. E bay should not collect any funds until your payment lands in you bank.

That's a joke right.....

not float the payment? 2 days ,sometimes 3 to forward to your bank. And then 2 or 3 for your bank to acknowledge receipt.

Do you understand the process in which MP uses? Or are you just assuming it should work better than it does for you?
There shouldn't be any need for a "confirmation number" as the date is enough to track it by. As to "can not be seen again", I don't know what that is about. There are detailed reports that will tell you EXACTLY the details of any payout you wish to have more details about.
It takes 1-2 days to clear Pending funds and then it moves to Available funds. The Available funds will then transfer to the seller on the NEXT available Business day for those on Daily Deposits or on the next available Tuesday for those doing Weekly deposits. Once the payout is released to the ACH banking system for processing to our checking accounts, MP has no authority over that money anymore. It is in the hands of the Banking system, not Ebay or MP. The Banking system takes 1-4 days to get the money to your bank account and this is all depending on your banks process. Sometimes with smaller more local banks it can take longer.
I deal with a major bank and all my payouts have posted by noon the day after the payout was sent.
Here is some information that is easy to read and quick as well. But VERY informative. It may help you to better understand what the process really is.

If that is what YOUR bank is doing, you need to address this issue with YOUR bank. That is NO fault of MP or Ebay. It is all about your bank.
I do Weekly deposits. Every Tuesday morning my payout is released. BEFORE noon on Wednesday I have an email from my bank telling me that my deposit has arrived. I do bank with a major bank. This process can take a little longer, 1-4 days, for smaller more local banks.

Except that I'm not. I'm stating the facts. If you don't know the source of the issue you are having with your bank, then it is unlikely you will ever get it fixed. You want to believe it is MP's fault, which it isn't. They have no control over the money once it enters the ACH banking system. So you can get as upset as you want with MP, it will never fix your issue with your bank.

I will for them.
mam98031 has been a major help to users in MP with problems. Has gone out of their way to assist others with problems.
They are a great help on the boards...
Hey if you do not like MP, you do not have to sell on eBay.... It is a choice....
I and a great deal of others use MP and can still make a buck using ebay.
And of course MP aint PP.... Never will be.
Not intended to be......

Probably soon only Ebay shareholders will be selling on Ebay.

If your bank is that slow , then you need to change banks. My bank is pretty fast.

I signed up for "instant payouts". When a buyer pays me I can get the funds usually in less than 2 days...usually at 9PM every night 24 / 7.
And eBay charges a very small fee for doing that. If you don't read up on the information of eBay I guess you are missing all the benefits of eBay.
