EBAY IS DOUBLE CHARGING ON PURCHASES!

I purchased an item on December 20 that was delivered last Friday. That payment went through on my debit card Dec 20. When I checked the item out yesterday it was defective so I contacted the seller today that issued a refund today as well. Just before the refund however eBay charged me a second time for the item and the refund is caught up in a debit/credit pending transaction with my bank. Both PayPal and my bank says the problem is at eBay and eBay denies there is anything they can do but assures me the problem will work itself out when the pending transaction is released. I only stopped thinking the seller was scamming because of the many post here with no official response from eBay on the matter or resolve that I am aware of except for a people having their personal funds tied up for weeks. I asked ebay to escalate my problem and they only say they don’t see the two debits made on my account and debit card and only recognize the refund. As of now I am owed two refunds. I have never experienced this and I've made hundreds of transactions on eBay. Other threads here speak to a problem with a new transaction system with eBay.

What you are seeing is a pending transaction,when the payment is approved, and actually goes thru, the pending transaction will be removed.
