I live in Puerto Rico and I purchased a $65 gift card from Walgreen's. Once I got home and I decided what I was going to buy, I went into the checkout and I entered the code at the back of the gift card. I should mention that I fully made sure that the card was activated and it was fully activated with the $65 on it. However, once I hit the pay button it gave me the usual "Please select a different payment option" message, and after dozens and dozens of attempts to try and pay with it, even trying to pay for other items with it, it doesn't let me pay for anything whatsoever. This is making me angry after trying so hard to get it to work, and previous gift cards I've bought before never had this problem before. Is there a problem going on with gift cards at the moment?

You could try downloading the app on your phone and purchasing threw it.
I have had problems like that and it is usually just a temporary problem.
Maybe even a different device would work.

The right side of the screen looks normal... like it's waiting for you to 'Confirm and pay'. Did the red message come up after you pressed that? That's odd... when you check the card now, your funds are still there, no?

Yes, the card has full balance. The message kept appearing even if I refreshed the page and tried to pay for the item again.

It looks like the OP's order totaled $18.11... @jonadis_58 still has a $65 balance, but wanted the $18.11 to come from there.
